In this TED Talk, psychologist Angela Lee Duckworth champions grit as a key to success. According to her, grit is not a sprint but a marathon. Grit is holding steadfast to that goal. Even when you fall down. Even when you screw up. Even when the progress towards that goal is halting or slow. The first step to building grit is to get back up when you encounter a setback or failure. Never EVER give up and persevere on in achieving your goals.
