[Hackathon] Day 3 Speakers' profile

On the third day of our Hackathon ( 23rd Nov), we are pleased to invite 4 experienced speakers to deliver a mentorship session for our participants.

Profiles are as follows:

Jit Min is an alumni of SIM, and also the founder of Central Perk Cafe.

Prior to being an entrepreneur, he was a consultant in PERSONNA PTE. LTD. for 1 year and 7 months. He is employed as part of a team of specialists who work with premium brands to monitor their existing business practices, identify their talent needs and provide options and solutions for them.

His specialty is matching talents to employer profiles and he is interested in networking opportunities, communicating with both clients and potential candidates. These skills bring him to where he is now.

Central Perk Cafe is the one and only officially licensed US Sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed cafe in Singapore since 2016.

On the path of building his dream cafe, Jit Min met different problems such as funding, human resources and other unexpected problem.

Alvin Ea is the Co-Founder & CEO of Haulio Pte, Co-Founder of HUB Express Singapore Pte Ltd, and CEO of HUB Logistics Pte Ltd.

He started his Logistics profession through his family business HUB Distributors Services, a local SME 3PL firm in Singapore since 1988.

As a forward-looking second-generation business leader, Alvin has more than 6 years of business development experience, achieving the growth and corporatization of the company through innovative technologies, and increasing the group's revenue by 20% year-on-year.

Haulio is a logistic company based in Singapore. It is designed for Industry 4.0, they connect containers to their customers.

Haulio is a brand new ecosystem designed to bring value to various stakeholders in the container transport space; Allowing containers to move outside the port like clockwork can save freight companies time and resources while improving the visibility and reliability of end customers.

Zac Chua, graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU), the Founder & CEO of the Kettle Gourmet. He built a sizeable portfolio from investment and trading during university days, he challenged himself to go a further step. He started his own company.

Upon graduating with a degree in Business Management from SMU, Zac put his career plans on hold and dedicated himself full-time to transforming his passion for popcorn into a business in July 2017.

The Kettle Gourmet is a Singapore based F&B start-up company that specialises in manufacturing and distribution of gourmet popcorn. They serve freshly hand-baked gourmet popcorn with a unique local twist.

Their client base has grown rapidly to over 200 clients across business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) platforms. Prominent clients include Facebook, SATS, Trip Advisor and Singapore Police Force. Popular cafes Rabbit Owl Depot (Bugis) and Arbite (Serangoon Gardens) have also added The Kettle Gourmet's popcorn into their menu offerings.

Tan Jia Jun, Senior Managing Partner at GetDreams PTE. LTD. He graduated from ITE, he is also the Founder of “Get Dreams” and the Co-owner of “Intelligent Millionaires Network Singapore (IMN)”. He helps employee to make the transition into entrepreneurship through actionable steps.

He is a network owner of Business FUN as well as a co-owner of the Intelligent Millionaires Network and also had been invited to National University of Singapore (NUS) Entrepreneurship Society and Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) to share his learning journey with the students and bring them inspiration.
