Here are some details on our invited pitching trainer and judges on that day.

With more than ten years of experience under his belt as a Senior Business Development Strategist & former executive chairman of Speaker & Trainer Association, José is a versatile leader who best excels in local startups bearing the entrepreneurial mindset.

José’s vision involves moving into a position that allows him to maximise his well-honed skills as a speaker, leader, organiser and entrepreneur, challenging himself to pilot Bountie to become the number one household name among everyday gamers in Asia.

Bountie Technologies is a gaming technology company based in Singapore, empowering gamers in Asia to make a living while playing their favourite games through the platform, Bountie.

It’s decentralized platform that aims to reward all participants in the gaming ecosystem in a fair and equitable manner for their gaming efforts and skills.

He will be conducting a pitching workshop for us on the finale day of our hackathon!

Alex is the Managing Director of Spaze Ventures, with over a decade of experience from both the public and private sectors, he has invested in more than 10 startups, helping them to expand overseas and grow.

He was most recently the Vice President of Korvac Holdings, a regional technology company that specializes in payment processing and consumer data. Responsible for corporate development and regional business development, he helped Korvac to expand into new markets.

He received the MTI Borderless Award in 2010 and achieved the “Most Impactful in Asia”​ award at the 2012 ICT Awards.

Spaze Ventures is a startup incubator based in Singapore, where they provide seed funding and intensive hands-on mentorship for pre-launch ideas to seed stage startups.

They also engage and invest in entrepreneurs and ICT startups in the earliest stage possible. High growth and disruptive tech startups with a focus on financial services, education, healthcare services & e-commerce are their favorite sectors!

Gerald Tan is the Co-founder of YummyBros.com, Chief Marketing Officer of The Gym Pod, and founder of Quickienomics, the Online Tuition Centre for UOL students.

In his 7 years of entrepreneurship, Gerald has ideated, built, and marketed a variety of new products & services from scratch. He graduated from UOL with a BSc in Economics & Management (First Class Honours).

He believes that a lot of what you study in school can be applied to entrepreneurship and being a student is a great time to learn the essential skills needed to bring a idea business to life.

Evan Loh is a venture Associate at TRIVE.

Having particular interests and a keen eye for Consumerism, User Experience & Growth Hacking, he aims to develop and guide like-minded individuals to achieve their goals on this journey!

He is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Social Science (Hons), Economics in the National University of Singapore. He definitely can relate to us as aspiring student entrepreneurs!
